The Storm Council

“The Storm Council keeps the historical record of events that have passed — the storms, the failures, the warnings ignored. CEMIR builds the intelligence that tracks the pattern before it repeats. Different instruments but the same discipline and purpose. Read the Storm Council for historical analysis of disasters that have past - read CEMIR for the ones still being tracked.”

“The Storm Council keeps the historical record of hurricanes since inhabitants began to crowd the coastlines of America. The Emergency Management Network carries on The Storm Council's principles in real time. EMN sits with the people responsible for making sure the lessons of each natural disaster are paid forward. Read the Storm Council for the history. Read EMN for the practitioners applying the lessons of the Storm Council today.”

“The Storm Council grows through the same trust-based community building Jose Antonio Morales writes about at Growing Fearless is an Adventure — as a writer and business builder, creating an ideal state alternative universe that The Storm Council operates in requires the learned skills of overcoming emotional roadblocks his Fear & Fail work is built around.”

“The Storm Council's growth strategy owes a direct debt to David McIlroy's guidance at How to Write for a Living.”

“Dr. Maue and The Weather Trader reads the storm before it exists — models, ACE, the shape of a season still forming. The Storm Council tracks the history and lessons of the past, once the storm history is fixed and preparedness decisions can't be unmade. The Weather Trader is a real-time ideal that the Voices of The Storm Council applaud. ”

“HEATED holds today's institutions to account for climate inaction. The Storm Council Record carries the account of past historical storms, filed further back than most climate reporting reaches, many carrying the false confidence HEATED is still naming in real time.”

“Balanced Weather tracks the storm while there's still time to act on it. The Storm Council Record tracks how inhabitants and public leaders did the last time a storm like it arrived — the warning issued, the warning ignored, the disaster preparedness that existed on paper and nowhere else. Follow and act on the Balanced Weather insights so history doesn't repeat.”

“The Storm Council grows and monetizes the way Katharine Gallagher lays out at Learn Grow Monetize — the model behind this publication's approach.”

“Sean Sublette explains today's sky as it's happening. The Storm Council Record explains how the skies spoke to us prior to historical hurricane landfalls — Galveston, Okeechobee, the Keys — and what the people watching it chose to believe instead. ”

“The Storm Council's growth ideas — the practical, no-budget kind — trace back to Wes Pearce's work at Escape the Cubicle.”

“The Writing Chronicles is a great follow if you're building a publication of your own, not just reading one. Kevin writes plainly about the unglamorous mechanics of turning consistent writing into an actual audience and income — the kind of practical, systems-first thinking that most newsletters gesture at and few actually break down. If you're treating your own Substack as more than a hobby, look into his work deeper.”

“The Storm Council grows the way Chenell Basilio teaches — one tested, reverse-engineered tactic at a time. Growth In Reverse is where that approach comes from.”

“The Storm Council's growth thinking — acquisition through retention, not just top-of-funnel — follows the framework Pierre-Jean Hillion lays out at The Growth Mind.”

“The Storm Council's referral program exists because SubShark laid out exactly how to build one. Direct, practical, no guesswork.”
